User Agreement

Introduction

Welcome to the Dobipet mobile application! This User Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between SLY Teknoloji ve Yazılım Hizmetleri LTD. ŞTİ. ("SLY Teknoloji", "we", "us", "our") and you ("User", "you"). By using the Dobipet mobile application (the "App"), you agree to all the terms of this Agreement. Please read this Agreement carefully before using the App.

This Agreement has been prepared in accordance with relevant data protection legislation, including the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. App Usage and Purpose

Dobipet is a mobile application designed to help pet owners easily track their pets' information, activities, health records, and appointments. Through the App, you can perform the following actions:

  • Record information about your pets such as their name, species, breed, adoption and birth dates, and gender.
  • Create a gallery by adding profile photos and other images of your pets.
  • Record their activities like walking, potty breaks, or eating.
  • Track their weight and height.
  • Record microchip information.
  • Add veterinarian details.
  • Track vaccinations.
  • Store appointment information and receive reminder notifications.

You agree to use the App solely for personal and non-commercial purposes.

2. Account Creation and Security
  • You can log in to the App using Google or Apple sign-in methods. When you use these methods, SLY Teknoloji may access your basic account information (name, email address, profile photo).
  • You are responsible for the security of your account. You must keep your account information confidential and take necessary measures to prevent unauthorized access.
  • You agree to notify SLY Teknoloji immediately in case of any unauthorized use of your account or any security breach.
3. User Responsibilities and Obligations
  • Accuracy: You are solely responsible for ensuring that all information you enter into the App (pet information, health data, etc.) is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
  • Content: You must ensure that photos and other content you upload to the App do not infringe on copyrights or third-party rights. Uploading illegal, obscene, defamatory, or harmful content is prohibited.
  • Conduct: You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the App. You must not engage in any actions that would disrupt the App's operation or negatively affect other users' experience.
  • Not Medical Advice: The information provided in the App (such as vaccination tracking, activity logging) is for informational purposes only and does not substitute professional veterinary advice. You should always consult a qualified veterinarian regarding your pet's health. SLY Teknoloji is not responsible for decisions made based on information provided in the App.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
  • All rights, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and other intellectual property rights of the App belong to SLY Teknoloji.
  • This Agreement grants you a license to use the App but does not transfer ownership of any part of the App or its content to you.
  • You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, or create derivative works from the App's source code.
5. Data Storage and Security

All personal and pet data we collect through the App is stored on a secure cloud infrastructure called Google Firebase Cloud.

Firebase implements advanced security measures to protect your data. These measures include encryption, access controls, and regular security audits.

While SLY Teknoloji makes every effort to ensure data security, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmission over the internet.

6. Account Deletion
  • There is no direct account deletion feature within the App.
  • If you wish to delete your account and all your personal data, please send a written request to info@slyteknoloji.com.
  • Your account deletion request will be processed within a reasonable timeframe from the date of receipt and in accordance with KVKK and GDPR regulations. Upon your request, all personal data associated with your account will be irreversibly deleted.
7. Suspension and Termination of Service

SLY Teknoloji reserves the right to suspend your access to the App or terminate this Agreement in the following circumstances:

  • If you violate any provision of this Agreement.
  • If you use the App for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
  • If you jeopardize the security or integrity of the App.
  • Due to legal or regulatory requirements.

In the event of suspension or termination of your account, your access to the App will cease, and you may not be able to access data associated with your account.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties
  • The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. SLY Teknoloji makes no warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
  • SLY Teknoloji will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption) arising from the use or inability to use the App.
  • SLY Teknoloji has no control over and is not responsible for any third-party links or services included in the App.
9. Agreement Modifications

SLY Teknoloji reserves the right to modify the terms of this Agreement from time to time. Changes will be effective when published within the App or on our website. We will provide prominent notice of significant changes. Your continued use of the App after the changes are published signifies your acceptance of the updated Agreement.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. The Courts and Enforcement Offices of Istanbul (Turkey) shall have jurisdiction over any disputes arising from or related to this Agreement.
